Hunter dies in saddle hunting accident

At some point, Dane made vocal distress calls that were heard by a squirrel hunter, who wasn’t sure what he was hearing in the distance and ignored them at first. After hearing Dane’s cries for help again, the squirrel catcher went over to investigate the noise.

Upon arrival at the scene, the hunter reported that Dane was sitting upright in his chair (not face down), about 6 feet off the ground, distraught and on the verge of losing consciousness (reason unknown).

The hunter was unable to knock it down or cut it down. When Dane lost consciousness, he fell backwards and inverted. Unable to help free Dane from the chair, the hunter called out to e.emergency services for help.
