Sue Tidwell is the multi-award winning author of Shouts of the Savannahwinner of the Reader’s Favorite Gold Medal, the Professional Outdoor Media Association’s Pinnacle Award, Kindle Book Review Nonfiction Semifinalist, and The Wildlife Society’s 2022 Conservation Education Award.
Sue, an adventurous individual who enjoys the great outdoors, has long enjoyed capturing her escapades on paper exclusively for the eyes of family and friends. her safari in Tanzania, however, lit a fire in her gut, compelling her to share her adventure and journey of consciousness with the world. Cries of the Savannah is the fruit of that passion. When she’s not at the keyboard, Sue can be found pining for Africa, on top of a paddle board, enjoying the antics of her grandchildren or taking part in the latest outdoor excursion with her husband Rick. .
