Alien Gear Holsters® Rapid Force™ holsters were introduced to the ASP training team at the recent ASP International Trainer Certification (ATC) in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Alien Gear Holsters®, designers and manufacturers of American-made holsters and accessories for firearms, and the Rapid Force™ line of level 2 and level 3 duty holsters, announce that Armament Systems’ law enforcement trainers and Procedures (ASP) are now equipped with Alien Gear Holster’s latest duty holsters. The collaboration began when Alien Gear executives introduced the company’s Rapid Force holsters to the training team at the recent ASP International Trainers Certification (ATC) in Las Vegas, Nevada.
ASP trainers travel the world teaching the company’s coveted integrated baton, handcuff and light tactics instructor courses. What makes the ASP program unique is that it is provided to qualified officials and agencies completely free of charge. And this, according to Alien Gear, is what caught the attention of the case company.
“We are passionate about officer safety and never letting money get in the way of getting the best training possible,” said Sandi Little, director of operations for Alien Gear. She went on to say that Alien Gear has a similar free training program for police departments looking to adopt their Level 3 retention holsters.
ASP Vice President of Sales Daryell Harmon said ASP has strict safety rules, including a requirement that service weapons be replaced with the company’s well-known inert Red Guns in the training environment. “Our Trainers appreciate great gear,” Harmon said, “so we reached out to Alien Gear to see if they would like to work with us to put the most advanced and secure holsters on our duty belts.”
Alien Gear was immediately receptive to the idea, because they shared ASP’s training and safety philosophy and because they appreciated the value of having ASP trainers in front of thousands upon thousands of officers each year. “The exposure is great, even though it’s not really about sales,” says Little. “These are two friendly, like-minded companies that share a mission to care for our law enforcement officers.”
“We are receiving more and more requests from agencies across the country to purchase our Rapid Force service holsters. Working with law enforcement trainers, like our partnership with ASP, allows police officers in training to see and feel the superior performance and security our holsters provide,” explained Joe Lienemann, Director of Sales for Law Enforcement. Alien Gear Holsters Law. “As a law enforcement officer myself, the simplicity and security of the Rapid Force line of duty holsters provide peace of mind knowing your duty holster will perform as needed.”
The Rapid Force Duty Holster is designed specifically for military and law enforcement professionals. The revolutionary retention mechanism was designed to provide the highest level of security while maintaining incredibly fast and smooth removal. Alien Gear Holsters’ patented Gross Motor Response (GMR™) retention control system allows the user to consistently draw with perfect grip, even under stress. The Rapid Force Duty Holster has been extensively tested in extreme environments and extreme conditions, making it known as a “tank” of a holster, capable of withstanding anything you throw at it. The Rapid Force Duty Holster is available in four configurations: Slider Strap, Paddle, MOLLE, and Drop Leg.
