Ted Koch, Executive Director of the North American Grouse Partnership

Houston Safari Club Foundation (HSCF) and “Hunting Matters” welcome Ted Koch, Executive Director of the North American Grouse Partnership.

Ted Koch is Executive Director of the North American Grouse Partnership. He received a BS in Biology from Southern Connecticut State University and an MS in Zoology from Idaho State University. He served as an endangered species biologist for the US Fish and Wildlife Service for 30 years, working on all kinds of plants and animals, including grouse and lesser prairie chickens. Ted resides in Garden Valley, ID.

The North American Grouse Partnership is working with landowners to conserve the grasslands of the southwestern Great Plains for lesser prairie chickens and other species. Lesser prairie chickens are about to be listed under the Endangered Species Act.
