POMA Announces Two New Pinnacle Award Categories

The registration period ends on March 1.

POMA’s Pinnacle Awards are the highest honor the organization can bestow on its members of the media for their creative work. They honor communicators annually for outstanding journalistic achievement in traditional sports-focused outdoor magazine writing, newspaper/web writing, photography/illustration, books, broadcasting, and conservation journalism.

POMA’s board of directors recently added two new categories to accurately showcase the talents of the organization’s members: Magazine – Full (Digital) and Magazine – Full (Print).

Gather your best articles, magazines, books, broadcasts, photos, etc., and prepare them to send. You can mail submissions or use our simple electronic submission option. content between November 1, 2021 and October 31, 2022, is eligible for entry.

1. Newspaper/Internet Article
2. Magazine article
3. Magazine – Complete (Digital)
4. Magazine – Complete (Print)
5. Book (including e-books)
6. Broadcasting (audio and/or video)
7. Art and imagery (painting, illustration, photography and graphics)
8. **Wildlife conservation and management (**work in any medium is acceptable, but the main subject must be wildlife conservation and management).
