Federal Ammunition congratulates sponsored shooter Vincent Hancock, a three-time Olympic gold medalist and four-time world champion, on winning two medals at the 2023 International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) World Cup in Doha, Qatar, from 4 to March 13. Hancock took home a silver medal in men’s individual skeet shooting and a gold medal in mixed team skeet shooting with fellow American Kim Rhode.
“I shot one of the best matches of my career in Doha this week,” Hancock said. “I managed to tie a world record of 125/125, a perfect semi-final, and then came just one target away from gold in the Skeet men’s singles final. Overall, I’m very happy with the way I’m shooting and I’m looking forward to further improving for Paris 2024.”
“We’re really proud to be Hancock’s sponsor,” said Dan Compton, director of Shotshell products for Federal Ammunition. “His personality, performances and his accomplishments reflect Federal’s dedication to its quality products and to shooting sports.”
“This was a great event for me and many other athletes in Team USA Shooting. My goal is always to do my best, and the men’s singles Skeet match was certainly a close one,” Hancock continued. “I shoot all over the world and Federal Ammunition will always be my first choice. At the range, I know the reliability and quality of Federal ammunition is second to none and I can rely on it in any condition.”
