Shoot United attended the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) National Competition in Marengo, Ohio to interview key program leaders, competitors and family members to demonstrate the positive impact of shooting sports.
The SCTP is one of the largest and fastest growing youth clay target programs in the United States. With the goal of helping children reach their full potential to become the best athletes they can be, SCTP provides students from elementary school through high school and college with the opportunity to compete in sports such as trap, skeet, and clay. sports.
“Shooting sports are one of the fastest growing sports activities among America’s youth,” said Tom Wondrash, executive director of SCTP. “We continue to see an increase in teams and events, which is due in large part to committed coaches, athletes and parents. We are lucky to have initiatives like Shoot United that help us share the positive messages and experiences that come from shooting sports.”
