Sporting Clays Phenomenon Connor Daniel Wins FITASC at NSCA Southeast Regional

Winchester team member Connor Daniel, 15, outshot an entire field of highly competitive sporting clay shooters at the recent NSCA Southeast Regional. Daniel won the FITASC slam event outright, a feat that has never been done by a Sub-Junior.

Daniel took top honors while best friends and Team Winchester members Zach Kienbaum and Joe Fanizzi finished second and third respectively. In general, the Winchester team performed well in all events, but particularly in FITASC Parcours.

“Congratulations to Connor on an extraordinary achievement. His hard work and training certainly paid off in one of the most competitive shoots in the country,” said Jason Gilbertson, Winchester Ammunition director of marketing. “The NSCA Tour, powered by Winchester, continues to showcase the excitement and growth of shooting sports at remarkable venues across the United States.”

Team Winchester sporting clay shooters continue to represent the Winchester brand and legendary AA® cartridges at the highest level. Daniel rode through the Southeast Region grinding clay targets primarily using Winchester AA®, Lite-Handicap, 1 oz #8 buckshot cartridges, 1,290 feet per second.
