Since 2015, 165 veterans have received support through the Military to the Mountains program. Each year, 22 veterans and first responders are selected from the partnership between the Adaptive Training Foundation in Dallas, Texas and Reno, Nevada. They are given the opportunity to train for nine weeks, preparing for a week of skiing and snowboarding in the Palisades Tahoe.

Each year, Arcade works to support the High Fives Foundation, among other organizations. In March 2023, Arcade raised over $164,000 for the High Fives Foundation through its Mothership Classic ski-a-thon fundraiser.

The High Fives Foundation is a Tahoe-based nonprofit organization on a mission to help people with life-altering injuries get back to snowboarding, skiing, surfing, mountain biking, and more. Along with specialized grants, programs, and a state-of-the-art facility called the CR Johnson Healing Center, the Foundation designs education around preventing life-changing injuries and provides resources and hope if they occur.
Formed as a way to “pay it forward” by founder, Roy Tuscany, after his own recovery from a spinal cord injury, High Fives has helped nearly 500 athletes and veterans in North America since its inception in 2009.
