Shoot long distance with Swaggers SFR10

Long-range shooters now have the stability and flexibility they’ve been looking for, and it comes in a small tactical bipod. The Swagger Bipods SFR10 was designed for long-range hunting, competition shooting, and long-range shooting. The SFR10’s adjustable flex tension technology allows shooters to adjust the flex to their situational needs.

The SFR10 model features modular leg technology that allows active tension on each leg to create the desired range of motion. When shooting on the range or during a competitive situation, the flexibility allows you to transition from one target to another while shooting from a bench or in a prone position. Bench shooters did not favor the traditional rigid bipod that had to be picked up and moved between each target. The flex of the SF10 allows for a smoother transition while maintaining a solid rest to make the shot. If you’re shooting at greater distance, the SFR10 (Flex to Rigid – Quick Detach) allows shooters to go from a flexible bipod to a solid mount with the push of a button.

A primary feature that sets the SFR10 apart from the competition is the ability to quickly acquire a target and load it while still tracking that target over any terrain. Predator hunters, prairie dog hunters, and many others have raved about the effectiveness of the SFR10 in the field due to its mobility and the ability to quickly remove the bipod when necessary.

Whether you’re a hunter, a competitive shooter, or someone who just likes to shoot, the one feature all shooters can agree on that sets the SFR10 apart from anything Swagger has ever developed before it is the ability to stay flexible and, at the same time, quickly set up to block it. a rigid position.

SFR10: field to range adjusts from 6″ to 10.5″.

  • Weight: 15.2 ounces
  • Quick Detach lever allows the shooter to quickly remove the SFR from the weapon when needed
  • Mounts directly to Pic Rail
  • Retail Sales: $249.99

Get healthy, America! Raw Chicken and Potatoes with Hi Mountain Seasonings

We all love fried chicken and French fries, right? The smell, the taste… But we also know that eating fried food is as unhealthy as possible. Fried foods are not only much higher in calories than their non-fried counterparts, but are also cooked with processed vegetable or seed oils. When heated, these oils can form trans fats, which have been shown to increase LDL, the bad cholesterol. And eating fried foods on a regular basis has been associated with a host of health problems, including increased risk of various diseases and early death.

In fact, a 2017 study (https://edition.cnn.com/2017/06/14/health/fried-potatoes-early-death/index.html) found that people who eat French fries two or more times a week double their risk of premature death compared to those who avoid them. And a 2019 study published in the BMJ medical journal (https://www.bmj.com/company/newsroom/fried-food-linked-to-heightened-risk-of-death-among-older-us-women/ ) ), showed that women who ate one or more servings of fried food per day had an 8% increased risk of death from all causes, as well as heart-related death, compared with those who did not eat fried food. More specifically, eating fried chicken had a 13 percent increased risk of death and a 12 percent increased risk of heart-related death. For fried fish, the increased risk of death and heart-related death was 7 to 13 percent, respectively.

That doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy delicious chicken with potatoes. PLAINTIFFS FILE MEMO SUPPORTING SUMMARY JUDGMENT MOTION IN THE IL TRANSIT CASE

BELLEVUE, WA – The plaintiffs in a case financially backed by the Second Amendment Foundation challenging an Illinois ban on concealed carry on public transportation have filed a memorandum supporting their earlier motion for summary judgment in the case.

The memorandum was filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Western Division. The plaintiffs in the case are Benjamin Schoenthal, Mark Wroblewski, Joseph Vesel and Douglas Winston. All are residents of counties in northern Illinois in the Chicago metropolitan area, and all are members of SAF. They are represented by attorney David Sigale of Wheaton, Ill. The case is known as Schoenthal vs. Raoul.

The defendants are Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul and State Attorneys Rick Amato (DeKalb County), Robert Berlin (DuPage County), Kimberly M. Foxx (Cook County) and Eric Rinehart (Lake County). ), all in their official functions.

According to the memo, Illinois prohibits law-abiding citizens, who are licensed to carry firearms under Illinois law, from carrying their firearms for self-defense “in or on . . . [a]any bus, train, or form of transportation paid for in whole or in part with public funds, and any building, real property, and parking area under the control of a public transportation facility paid for in whole or in part with public funds.” They maintain that the ban on public transportation is unconstitutional.

“The State will not be able to demonstrate that the ban on public transportation is consistent with the historical tradition of firearms regulation,” said SAF Founder and Executive Vice President Alan M. Gottlieb. “We support this case because it is the right thing to do, and these plaintiffs rely on public transportation to travel to and from various locations, including work, and should be able to carry firearms for their personal protection during transit. However, current laws, regulations, policies and practices imposed by defendants have made that legally impossible.

“Buses and commuter trains are public places, but they are not sensitive places,” he added. “This ban amounts to disarmament public policy for which there really is no historical foundation.”

The Second Amendment Foundation (www.saf.org) is the nation’s oldest and largest tax-exempt legal action, research, publishing, and education group focusing on the constitutional right and inheritance to own and own guns. fire privately. Founded in 1974, the Foundation has grown to more than 720,000 members and supporters and runs many programs designed to better inform the public about the consequences of gun control.

Call of the Highlands® National Campaign Tops 11+ Million Acres of Wildlife Habitat Successes

Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever have announced the completion of their unprecedented national campaign, Call of the Highlands, following six years of science-based strategy to protect, enhance or restore upland habitats across North America. “More than forty years ago, a group of visionaries dreamed that they could bring the glorious ring-necked pheasant back to the landscape. They knew that the habitat was the answer,” said Vincent. “From that vision an organization was born, and six years ago we launched Call of the Highlands to protect and preserve substantially more habitat in equally difficult times for upland birds. The volunteers, members, partners, donors and employees who make Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever such a powerful force today truly ‘answered the call’ to protect upland landscapes. This is a new beginning for more important work to come because, as our name states, our mission is forever.”

Highlighting mission triumphs as part of Call of the Highlands it includes the organizational pillars of habitat, access, education and promotion; each plays a critical role in furthering the conservation goals of Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever. Campaign statistics include the following:

  • Introduction of the North American Grassland Conservation Act (NAGCA): The largest new grassland legislative effort in the organization’s history, NAGCA ran in the United States Senate in 2022 after several years of hard work and more than 50,000 individual calls/emails to Congress. This Act will help initiate voluntary protection and restoration of sagebrush grasslands and shrub steppes in North America.
  • Introduction of the American Wildlife Recovery Act: In the spring of 2022, advocacy on behalf of Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever members and employees helped pass this bill through a full House and Senate committee. Reauthorization of the 2023 Farm Bill, including a strong Conservation Title, is vitally important to the future of upland landscapes: Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever are leading the way in critical land conservation advocacy high in DC
