The Habitat Organization is pleased to announce the formation of the Cincinnati Chapter of Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever in southern Ohio. Based in Hamilton, Clermont and Warren counties, local volunteers have begun planning outdoor education opportunities, a spring fundraiser and future habitat conservation projects to strengthen wildlife resources in their region. .

A focus on habitat conservation efforts in Ohio to help improve wild pheasant and quail populations and increase hunting opportunities is an emphasis for new chapter leaders.

“We’re excited to get things moving and see what we can do to impact habitat in our area,” said newly elected chapter president Jeff Rhinock. “We look forward to working with our local biologists and other Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever staff members to promote upland birds and introduce new hunters to all that we have to offer in southern Ohio.”

With the addition of this most recent chapter, Ohio is now home to 31 Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever chapters, with more than 4,500 members statewide. HatsanUSA has brought a new highly customizable competition PCP air rifle to the US market: the Factor RC.
