Lithium Pros® Introduces M3110-S 12V Marine Starting Battery

Finding the right battery for your fishing boat has long been a problem for water enthusiasts. Lightweight designs with durability, energy efficiency and high power are hard to find in a starting battery. Lithium Pros® can pack all of these qualities into a long-lasting marine starting battery that keeps you on the water all day.

Lithium Pros is proud to introduce the M3110-S 12 Volt Marine Starting Battery, featuring the most cranking power of any battery in its class at 1500 marine cranking amps (eq). Powered by high-power Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) chemistry, using lithium-ion cells tested to UL1642 standard, the M3110-S 12V delivers 110 amp hours and an incredible 260 minute reserve capacity, which makes it the best option for the competition. anglers who refuse to compromise on reliability, battery life and power.

Since it maintains a higher voltage on discharge, it is no longer necessary to use two 12V lead-acid batteries to prevent the graphics from resetting when the engine starts. The Lithium Pro M3110-S can supply enough power to start most conventional outboard motors and keep up to four different 12” graphics running simultaneously.

With secure IP67 sealing in a lightweight casing, Lithium Pros batteries feature one of the most advanced internal battery management systems in the marine industry. Its fully integrated digital management system ensures long battery life and trouble-free service. This system checks for overcurrent, undercurrent, short circuit, or overtemperature, and if detected, protects the battery from damage.

Weighing just 31 pounds, you won’t find more cranking power housed in a standard Group 31 case (13″L x 6.81″W x 8.43″T). Plus, the lithium-ion battery provides up to five times more cycle life with 80% depth of discharge, easily allowing for more than 2,500 cycles, plus it recharges five times faster than traditional lead-acid batteries, so you can get back in the water in less time. Unlike conventional lead-acid batteries, lithium-ion batteries do not contain toxic materials or emit harmful gases, making them a better choice for the environment.

The M3110-S can be used with any 3-stage 12V external battery charger set to 14.4V charge and 13.6V float maximum with no desulfation mode. It is also fully compatible with alternator systems including those used by Honda, Suzuki, Mercury and Yamaha.

If you’re looking for quality, reliability, long life, and enough power to last you all day on the water, look no further than the Lithium Pros M3110-S 12V 110Ah Marine Starting Battery.

Firminador against the competitor | HuntingLife.com

What makes the Firminator the best food plot implement on earth? It is not a single thing, but several in a single implement.

Versatility

“The Firminator is the only planting implement I need. Whether you’re doing conventional tillage, single-pass seeding in food plots, or just seeding in winter grazing for livestock, the Firminator can do it all,” says Chuck Sykes of The Management Advantage. In fact, operators can vary the angle and pitch settings for different functions and site conditions. They can aggressively set disc angles and create a strong forward tilt of the entire unit for deeper disc penetration for first time planting or sites that are littered with debris. Angles and pitch can be adjusted to lightly cut top litter with minimal soil disturbance where minimal tillage operation is desired. But the versatility doesn’t end there.

Different plants grow from seeds of different sizes. Retrofitting can be problematic for many competitive spreaders, requiring multiple passes and adjustments, changing internal components between passes, or larger seeds getting stuck or smaller seeds spilling out too quickly. Firminator’s precise seeding system ensures that doesn’t happen. Metering openings can be adjusted in one-sixteenth inch graduations until the proper selections are found for the largest seed in a mix. As the Firminator moves forward, the seed is dropped into a specially designed deflector that evenly and thoroughly distributes the different sized seeds. With the optional seed hopper agitator, you can even spread mixes with extreme size differences in a single pass. The agitator helps keep the seeds well mixed and prevents smaller seeds from leaking out too quickly.

Efficiency

“When an implement is so efficient that it can cut your tractor time in half while using less seed and producing higher yields and tons of crops for wildlife, well, it’s a no-brainer to me,” says Travis T-Bone Turner, co-host by Realtree Road Trips and Bone Collector. Unlike other attachments, the Firminator’s all-in-one configuration incorporates a cultivator, spreader and cultipacker in one unit so you can till, plant and bale without changing attachments. Disc blades are spaced 6″ apart with custom iron disc spools instead of the competition’s discs spaced at the standard 7-1/2″ spacing. This means more disk sheets across the width of The Firminator (12 on the six-foot unit). That creates a fuller cut, which in turn means fewer passes.

Because the system is ground driven, the seeds are metered relative to speed, and when the Firminator stops rolling, the seeds stop falling, so there is no spillage of debris. Plus, the seeds fall right in front of the culti-packer’s heavy, notched cast iron wheels that are proven to eliminate air gaps, pulverize clods, and level the soil while providing a beautifully prepared, firm seed bed. This improves seed to soil contact for much better germination rates, reducing seed waste, time and effort.

Durability

“What a great team for a Gamekeeper. They are well built and durable,” says Bobby Cole of Mossy Oak BioLogic. Ranew Outdoor Equipment (ROE) combines time-tested American craftsmanship and materials with the latest technology to produce each Firminator. At ROE’s plant in Milner, Georgia, welders and fabricators combine years of experience with high-end tooling to produce each frame and seed box. ROE painters then use top-of-the-line powder coating material on automated and manual powder coating lines to create a superior finish. Heavy 18-inch notched 9-gauge steel discs will stand up to the toughest ground conditions. Ditto for the aforementioned notched cast-iron culti-packer wheels and disc shafts, carried on replaceable triple-sealed bearings with cast-iron spools for added weight and durability. “It is difficult to find well-built teams. The Firminator is extremely rugged, built with attention to detail, and is the kind of implement your grandkids will still be using,” says Austin Delano of Mossy Oak.

Confidence

Considering all of the above, it’s no wonder Firminator has a 99% customer satisfaction rating. That’s what makes the Firminator the best food plot implement on earth.

Product characteristics:

  • Handles seeds of all sizes.
  • Large seed hopper
  • Seed metering openings
  • Seed size adjustments in 1/16 inch increments
  • Specially designed baffle for better distribution
  • Distributes seed directly in front of the cultipacker for optimal seed-to-soil contact
  • Protects the seed from wind drift.
  • Only distribute seeds while Firminator is rolling to avoid waste.

Ranew Outdoor Gear Introduces the Firminator – The Firminator is by far the most versatile gear in the industry. The operator can choose from a wide range of pitch and angle settings to perform many different functions.

Dunstan: The King of Chestnuts

American chestnuts once reigned supreme over the eastern hardwood forest, but were wiped out by blight in the blink of a geologic eye. Thanks to a serendipitous discovery and careful breeding, a new king has arisen in Dunstan Chestnut, a superior nut and a superior tree.

Historically, American chestnuts were the most abundant species in the hardwood forests of eastern North America. Then came the blight, a bark fungus that was accidentally introduced in 1904. More than 30 million acres of chestnut trees that once stretched from Maine to Georgia and west to the Mississippi were all but wiped out in less than a human generation. For decades, biologists and foresters have searched the landscape for signs of hope. In the early 1950s, James Carpentar discovered a large American chestnut tree alive and healthy in a grove of dead and dying trees in Ohio.

He sent grafts of the tree to Dr. Robert T. Dunstan, a well-known plant breeder in Greensboro, NC, who grafted the grafts onto healthy rootstocks with promising results. Next, Dunstan crossed his graft trees with USDA-published Chinese varieties. Within a decade, the seedlings from him began to bear fruit. By selecting and crossing individuals that exhibited the best combination of nut and tree characteristics (resistance to blight and production of large, high-quality nuts), he was ultimately able to develop a superior variety: Dunstan Chestnut, the only chestnut the US received. Plant patents.

Dunstan eventually moved his second-generation cattle to North Central Florida, where the family established Chestnut Hill Nursery. In 1984, they planted a grove of 500 trees using grafts from the best second generation trees and third generation Dunstan seedlings. Those trees are over 50 feet tall and 16-20 inches in diameter today. More importantly, the parent trees are all blight resistant and produce superior nuts.

What makes Dunstan Chestnuts so much better? For starters, Dunstan’s chestnut trees can begin producing nuts in just 3 to 5 years, depending on care and climate, and will eventually compete with their parents in size and bounty, producing up to 2,000 pounds of nuts per acre in the maturity. Unlike their native ancestors, they were explicitly bred and have been shown to be resistant to blight. Unlike other hard mast species, they flower later so are less susceptible to frost and produce annually.

It’s not just quantity but size and nutrition that set Dunstan Chestnuts apart. They are larger than other varieties, averaging 15-35 walnuts per pound, compared to China walnuts (35-100/lb) and American walnuts (75-150/lb). Because they lack the tannins found in other mast species such as oaks, they are sweeter and more appealing to wildlife and human palates. They are more nutritious, containing four times the carbohydrates of a white oak acorn, 2.5 times the protein, and only a fraction of the fat.

FEATURES

Millennium Treestands GB-100 Buck Shade

Hunting ground blinds come in all styles, shapes, and sizes. Durability and reliability, especially during periods of bad weather, are as essential to a hunter as concealment. Lightweight pop-up blinds have their place, but many hunters choose to locate a blind in a desirable spot and leave it for weeks or more. It’s frustrating when you show up to hunt only to find those lightweight blinds battered and broken, tossed in a muddy ditch, or twisted against a tree. It’s very easy for those blinds to rip off the ground during a wind storm.

The GB-100 Buck Blind from Millennium Treestands offers relief, providing additional security for hunters who want their blinds to stay in place. Weighing in at nearly 83 pounds, it stays tough as a beefy blind man. Its anchoring system is robust, using steel stakes ½ inch thick and 18 inches long. These stakes help ensure that gusts of wind do not enter the ground level and tip the shutter over.

The frame is constructed of heavy-duty, powder-coated steel, not lightweight fiberglass that can break when stressed. The heavy-duty outer shell is made of water-resistant fabric. Loops added to the material make brushing the blind a breeze. Loops can also add rope ties for added strength and durability.

The GB-100 Buck Blind can be mounted on the ground or on an existing platform. Multi-configuration windows and interior are black, allowing for better concealment. Each window has a height-adjustable shot rest, making it ideal for rifle, shotgun, or crossbow hunting. It’s large enough to accommodate standing shots with a bow, at 84 inches wide, 48 inches long, and 84 inches tall at the center. With so much space, sleeping on the blind is not a problem. The GB-100 Buck Blind is designed for comfortable, long-distance hunting when needed.

While the GB-100 Buck Blind is not a lightweight run-and-gun weapon, hunters looking for a durable, reliable and portable alternative to expensive fixed blinds made of wood or plastic will find it to be an exceptional solution.

Characteristics of the GB-100 Buck blind:

  • Stronger and more durable than pull down blinds
  • Brushes on easily with added loops.
  • water resistant material
  • Includes steel ground stakes.
  • Can be used on an existing platform
  • Black windows and black interior for better concealment
  • Spacious interior with up to 84 inches of height for standing shots
  • Multi-configuration windows for hunting with a rifle, crossbow or vertical bow
  • Each window has a height-adjustable shot rest

GB-100 Buck Blind Specifications:

  • Material: powder coated steel/fabric.
  • Weight: 83 lbs.
  • Dimensions: 84″ wide x 48″ long x 84″ high
  • Model # – GB-100-00
