Millennium Marine’s new monitor mounts will secure electronics with ease

There is no denying that technology and fishing often go hand in hand. While fishing is essentially a primitive activity between man and fish, electronic depth finders and fish finders can help anglers tip the odds in their favor, but not without a good deal of sturdy support to secure monitors. Comparison of compact pistols of the CZ 75 series

CZ-USA continues to build three compact 75 series pistol models at lower prices, each with a unique feature set tailored to individual shooting needs. All models are 9mm high capacity double stack and share a common magazine size.

For nearly five decades, CZ built various pistol models around the beloved CZ 75 design, a lineage carried on in these modern compact models. The CZ 75 is known for its comfortable grip, smooth factory trigger system, and distinctive frame slider design. Current compact versions of these pistols include the 75 Compact, 75 PCR, and 75 P-01.

They inherit the best design features of the CZ 75, including its comfortable grip, smooth factory trigger system, and distinctive frame slider design. The main differences between the models are their overall weight, whether (or not) they have an accessory rail, and whether they use a thumb safety or disarm lever.

He CZ 75 Compact it is a smaller version of the classic double-action CZ 75. It retains the steel frame of its big brother with a shorter barrel and grip, making it easier to conceal and retains most of the full-size model’s weight to reduce recoil. It uses a manual safety and features fixed three-dot metal sights for a sharp sight image and fast target acquisition. Compared to the CZ 75 B, the tradeoff for its smaller size is a reduced magazine capacity of 15+1.

CZ 75 PCR It is named after the ‘Police of the Czech Republic’ and is designed for police and military use. The PCR retains the basic design of the 75 Compact but features a ¼ pound lighter forged alloy frame. CZ reinforced the frame to improve its strength, giving it a slightly wider profile. A more significant departure from the 75 Compact is the change to a lever-off decoil instead of the thumb safety. The PCR adds a snagless rear sight and a loaded chamber indicator to its list of features. A set of forward serrations give the PCR additional gripping surface for chambering rounds, which is helpful in the CZ 75’s low-profile slider-frame design.

He CZ 75 P-01 it came from the CZ tactical pistol development program. CZ added an accessory rail and dust cover to the P-01’s frame, improving its performance and reliability. At the same time, they use a forged alloy frame and a decocker system like the PCR. Eventually, engineers replaced the latchless sights with fixed three-dot sights.

When deciding between models, shooters consider several factors. The ability to mount a light or laser on the pistol limits the choice of the P-01. The 75 Compact’s steel frame adds recoil-absorbing weight and will feel very familiar to those who ride the full-size CZ 75. The PCR is the lightest and least bulky pistol in the compact line and makes an excellent concealed pistol.

Millennium Marine B-Series boat seats designed for unmatched comfort and proven durability

A good quality marine seat is an essential accessory for any boat. Millennium Marine’s B-Series line of boat seats is the perfect solution. They provide anglers with durable, comfortable support while helping to preserve a boat’s appearance and help maintain its value.

Millennium Marine’s seats are made with their exclusive patented ComfortMAX® fabric. This fabric undergoes a treatment process that repels mold and mildew and protects against harmful UV rays, so it won’t fade, wear, or tear like other fabrics. The ComfortMAX material is also perforated, allowing air to pass through for maximum breathability. Anglers appreciate the thoughtful details in all Millennium seats.

Millennium Marine’s B-Series line of seats are designed with lumbar support for all-day comfort so anglers can stay on the water from dawn to dusk. These products are built for performance, quality, and durability. They feature a tight and contoured sling that comfortably supports up to 400 pounds. Each seat in Millennium Marine’s B-Series product line is designed to withstand all temperature and weather conditions and can be mounted to any boat seat pedestal, with optional seat cables available.

The B-100 is Millennium’s traditional style marine seat. During cruising, the B-100’s seat back folds flatter than the competition, allowing better visibility for the captain of the boat. The B-100 is available in Grey, Tan, and Green and measures 21″ x 16.5″ x 20″, and the Marlin measures 16.5″ H x 19″ W x 16.15” L. The B-100 is also available in Mossy Oak’s ® Bottomland and Shadow Grass, including interchangeable armrests and seat cables. The Mossy Oak versions are slightly smaller at 19″ x 20.75″ x 19″.

The B-200 is backless but just as comfortable and supportive as the classic B-100. Additionally, the lack of a seat back makes the most of the boat’s valuable interior space without inhibiting movement or interfering with other rigging. Provides a full circle range of motion for throwing or fighting “the big one” in the pot.

The B-300 is our unique knob saddle seat. Its unique design offers hours of comfort and support while offering the perfect perch for leaning, tossing, straddling, and sitting. Its low profile makes casting and repositioning a breeze. It measures 21″x13″x7″.

Millennium Marine’s B series of marine seats are specially designed with the sport of fishing in mind and are ideal for crappie type boat setups. Combined with the Millennium Marine SideKick Dual Seat Mount, the seat is fully adjustable, facilitating quick and easy repositioning when spidering, casting, repositioning and trolling. ATN X-Sight 4K Pro 3-14x Review

I’ve used a variety of scopes over the years: fixed power, variable power, and more recently “smart scopes.” More officially known as electro-optics, there are several types from several different manufacturers. The technology is still being developed and is not 100% mainstream, although it is becoming more popular.

Personally, I have had experience with some electro-optics. SIG SAUER’s BDX system combines ballistic calculators and Bluetooth to display a custom crosshair within a traditional scope reticle based on your distance and ammunition. While I haven’t thoroughly tested this system, I was particularly impressed with it.

ATN X-Sight 4K Pro Riflescope

ATN’s X-Sight 4K Pro viewfinder packs even more features. It has a built-in rangefinder, but it’s also equipped with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. You can stream photos and videos at 1080p (also saved to SD), ideal for sharing content. You can also change the color and style of the reticle. I found this especially useful as I found that different shooting apps require different reticles. The ATN X-Sight 4K Pro allows it.

The main screen provides a wealth of information ranging from wind conditions to superelevation, zoom and more. Five buttons at the top of the viewer allow navigation through the various menus. They’re easy to reach as long as I keep my eye through the viewfinder, but I found the number of options to be impressive and overwhelming. It took some time to work with everything in scope and sometimes the system would freeze. All ATN scopes come with a warranty, which they honored by sending out a second test model.

This day/night scope comes with scope mounts and an infrared light for night vision. The “night vision” of this scope is not a true night vision. You still need some sort of ambient light to see at any distance. In my opinion, the value of this scope comes with the ability to see more clearly in low light conditions. I was very impressed with this ability. While great for coyotes, it also gives big game hunters a better field of view than a traditional scope for about the last half hour of legal shooting light.

Unlike a traditional viewer, ATN’s viewer is more like a camera projection or a television screen. It has various levels of brightness, but going out of range in low or no light is especially jarring. It takes some time to readjust, so you’ll basically be blind for at least a few moments after looking through the viewfinder. In a hunting scenario, this could make it difficult to obtain extra ammunition or a magazine.

Other features include RAV (Recoil Activated Video) and one-shot zero. Instead of worrying about having to hit record when a shot opportunity presents itself, RAV automatically records a few seconds before, during, and after the shot, so you don’t miss a thing. This can be particularly useful for determining the final shot location when tracking an animal, as well as for preserving memories.

The One Shot Zero is designed to help you get a proper zero after just one shot. The first step is to open the one shot zero function. Take your first shot and digitally align the reticle to the location of your first shot. It will adjust the on-screen reticle so that your next shot, when the reticle is positioned over the center and the shooter takes a good shot, will land in the desired location. Personally, I didn’t have much luck with this feature. It took me more than one shot to get a perfect zero.

ATN X-Sight 4K Review Summary

In general, this is a very interesting product. I didn’t care for the screen instead of traditional glass – it wore out on my eyes and didn’t feel natural. I spent more time trying to navigate the viewfinder than shooting it. There are plenty of cool features here, including low-light enhancement and video recording, but it would take a long time to really understand how it all works.

GoWild Introduces Sasquatch-Inspired AI Chatbot To Defeat Forum Trolls Forever

To get mad officially released SquatchBot, the brainchild of a mad scientist that combines the legend of Sasquatch folklore with the power of artificial intelligence. The furry chatbot is live on the GoWild social media app and is actively helping thousands of outdoor enthusiasts.

GoWild, a social gear shop for anglers and hunters, has a feature that allows members to ask questions of the community. This feature uses the platform’s algorithm to find other members who are knowledgeable about the topic of the question. With the addition of AI chatbot, members get immediate response to their SquatchBot questions. Members can also ask SquatchBot questions via direct message.

GoWild quietly launched a beta version of SquatchBot in early December 2022. The company monitored and refined the bot for several months, fine-tuning its responses to be more accurate. The product is now available to everyone on the app and is actively training on the content it creates as well as historical content.

SquatchBot creator and GoWild co-founder, Director of Development Chris Gleim predicts that SquatchBot will make hunting forums and Facebook groups obsolete when it comes to Q&A.

“When you ask redundant questions on Facebook forums or groups, one of two things usually happens,” Gleim said. “Either they scold you for asking something that has already been asked, or they ignore you because people get tired of answering the same questions. SquatchBot never tires of helping and is constantly digesting historical content to make it smarter.”

Gleim and a small team within GoWild created proprietary tools to automate SquatchBot training, which consists of both human reviews of content and the creation of automated feedback loops.

“As the community interacts with your content, such as upvoting your comments, we learn which responses were helpful and which weren’t,” Gleim said. “This is helping us build an AI mentor who has digested years of content out in the open online and is now learning from the experts in our community.”

Over the past few weeks, SquatchBot has provided great advice in hundreds of posts:

• SquatchBot recommended 5 books on bird dog training to a member with a 6 month old pup.

• Broken down the main differences between fixed and mechanical broadheads for a new archer.

• When someone said they had a mink eating their chicks, SquatchBot gave a list of tips for catching live mink.

• Recommended a Jetboil Instant Cooker System for backcountry hunting due to its light weight and efficiency.

• SquatchBot helped a member who was tanning a hide and trying to decide whether or not to tan his hide. The bot provided specific examples of when to pickle.

• Gave a list of tips on how to train a member’s dog to shed.

• SquatchBot helped someone traveling through Lexington, Ky. find half a dozen fishing lakes within easy reach.

To try out SquatchBot, download GoWild for iPhone or Android and create an account. Tap + in the bottom menu, then toggle “Mark my post as a question” or you can message him directly by searching for his account.

FIELDSHEER APPOINTS JOHN CACOPARDO NEW DIRECTOR OF REVENUE

will focus on continued growth of the company and new products/technology;

The areas of Sales, Marketing and Customer Service will be under his leadership

SAN MARCOS, CA (March 20, 2023) – Fieldsheer, a technology company that produces high-quality, temperature-controlled apparel under the Mobile Warming® and Mobile Cooling® brands, announces that John Cacopardo has been named Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).

As CRO, Cacopardo will lead the company’s sales, marketing and customer service efforts. Prior to his new role, Cacopardo served as a senior vice president of Mobile Warming, one of the company’s two temperature-controlled clothing lines. Prior to that, he served as Executive Vice President of Sales and Business Development, where he was charged with revitalizing both Mobile Warming and Fieldsheer to greater relevance.

More broadly, Cacopardo is being charged with the mission of aligning all the company’s departments for future growth. It already has a solid lead: Fieldsheer had a record year in 2022, posting its highest revenue in company history. This was not only the result of strong management, but also increased awareness of the Mobile Warming line by retailers and consumers. Additionally, the addition of the Mobile Cooling line, a clothing line that can lower a person’s temperature by up to 5 degrees, played an integral role in increasing revenue.

During the year, Fieldsheer also signed some high-profile marketing deals, one with the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League and the other with Meyer-Shank Racing. Cacopardo will continue to pursue similar deals to increase brand exposure and promote the temperature-controlled clothing category to consumers unaware of its existence.

Cacopardo is excited about his new role and the responsibilities that come with it. “There are a lot of people who aren’t familiar with the concept of temperature-controlled clothing, and our future marketing efforts will help them become more familiar with it,” he said. “Educating the consumer in this category significantly increases our potential market.

“At the same time, we will highlight the features and benefits of our two lines. This will help the consumer understand exactly what separates Fieldsheer from competitive products, particularly as we develop newer products and improve the technology behind them. With increased awareness of the concept and our brand specifically, Fieldsheer’s growth potential is staggering.”

ABOUT FIELDSHEER

Established in 1978, Fieldsheer was the first company to introduce motorcycle thermals for chilly rides in unpredictable conditions. Today, it’s unlike any other thermal garment company, because it’s a technology company. Its Mobile Warming line is a technology platform, the only thermal apparel company in the US market to own its entire supply chain, from hardware R&D, battery design, cut and sew, and app development. In addition to its Mobile Warming line of Bluetooth-powered apparel and accessories, Fieldsheer also produces Mobile Cooling, a line of apparel that not only cools the wearer through the use of drirelease® “built-in” in each yarn of fabric, but also provides properties of protection against the sun and the fight against bad odours. NDA joins coalition to fight chronic wasting disease in southeastern deer

The National Deer Association has joined a coalition of logging companies and conservation organizations formed to combat chronic wasting disease (CWD) among deer in the Southeast. The new coalition will promote practices that help discover, manage and mitigate the negative impacts of CWD. NDA joins Alabama Wildlife Federation, Georgia Wildlife Federation, Boone and Crockett Club, Forest Investment Associates, Molpus Woodlands Group, Potlatch Deltic, Rayonier, Resource Management Services, The Westervelt Company, and Weyerhaeuser.

“Approximately 88 percent of the nation’s deer hunting occurs on private land, making it increasingly important that private land owners and managers get involved in the fight against CWD,” said the conservation director for the NDA, Kip Adams. “This coalition was established to meet that need and I am proud that the NDA is a founding member.”

The new coalition recognizes that it will need the cooperation of state wildlife agencies, hunters and private landowners working together to slow the spread of the disease. The group has developed a list of voluntary “best management practices” to help control, manage and prevent the spread of CWD. The coalition will also support communication, research, policy and public health. These categories follow the CWD recommendations of the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies, but are designed for owners and managers of private land in the southeastern US with large numbers of recreational users.

See best management practices here: https://deerassociation.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/CWD-BestPracticesv2.pdf

Chronic wasting disease is transmitted from animal to animal and by contact with infectious material. The disease is contagious and can be freely transmitted within and between cervid populations. There are currently no treatments or vaccines available, and chronic wasting disease is 100% fatal to cervids. To date, no known transfer of chronic wasting disease to humans has occurred. The continued spread of the disease negatively impacts the economic, environmental, and cultural values associated with deer, and the involvement of private owners will be critical to success.

For more information on the CWD Coalition, contact Kevin McKinstry, 800-281-7991 or [email protected].

About the National Deer Association

More than 800 athletes representing some 76 teams from 31 states will come together and compete for top honors and national titles at the ACUI/SCTP Collegiate National Championship to be held at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, Texas,! from March 21 to 25! Industry partners and supporters are also showing up to support this historic event which will take place later this month.

A powerhouse in supporting the entire youth shooting sports industry, Larry and Brenda Potterfield have confirmed their attendance at the inaugural ACUI/SCTP Collegiate National Championship. Showing confidence in SCTP, the family has attended the SCTP National Championship nearly every year since its inception, along with representatives from the MidwayUSA Foundation in support of the nation’s largest youth shooting sporting event.

“To say we are excited to host Mr. and Mrs. Potterfield at our first ACUI & SCTP Collegiate Clay Target Championship event is an understatement,” said Taylor Blechschmid, ACUI Program Manager. “His impact on the ACUI Clay Targets Program, and the youth shooting sports community in general, is an inspiration to all of us. We’re all on the same team when it comes to celebrating college shooting sports, and we can’t wait to continue to do so through our partnership with SCTP and in Texas at our national tournament.”

“We couldn’t be more excited for Mr. and Mrs. Potterfield to attend the inaugural event where they will be able to see the weight of the ACUI/SCTP partnership in person,” exclaimed SCTP National Director Tom Wondrash. “Their support of the SCTP program and its member teams over the years has been incredible and we are excited to share the love of youth development through shooting sports with them at the National Shooting Complex.”
