Another addition to the Western Games schedule for 2023 is a 3×600 Rifle Match. This contest includes sighting shots, followed by three 20-shot sequences for the record in slow prone shooting from 600 yards. Competitors may use a Match Rifle, Service Rifle, F-Open, FT/R or AR tactical rifle during the 3×600 event.

Highpower events also include Service Rifle and 4-Man Team EIC matches which create even more exciting possibilities on the firing line.
In addition, CMP instructors will conduct a CMP Advanced HP Clinic (with live fire training and practice). The clinic offers lectures and demonstrations from some of the world’s leading civilian Highpower service rifle competitors. Those enrolled in the course must bring their own shooting equipment, rifle and ammunition to participate.
To further ensure a safe environment for all competitors and spectators, trained CMP staff members will be present at every match. Both young and old are welcome, so join in on all the competition, new experiences and fun!
