Colt’s Manufacturing introduced its newest snake pistol, the King Cobra Target 22 LR, at the National Rifle Association annual meetings. This baby Cobra excels at everything from competition to plinking to small game.
Exceptionally solid and all-American built, the King Cobra Target 22 LR was designed and made for shooting, a lot! Expect to see these revolvers in the many formal and informal rimfire competitions at gun clubs across the country. Don’t be surprised when the winners of these contests use the King Cobra Target 22 LR.
The King Cobra Target 22 LR packs 10 rounds into its cylinder so shooters can get plenty of fire between reloads. The one-piece stainless steel barrel is built for maximum precision and longevity, with US-forged stainless steel construction. The King Cobra features 1:16RH twist, optimal for 22 LRs, and is available in a 4 or 6 inch model.
The new King Cobra Target 22 LR is fun and comfortable to shoot. Hogue over molded rubber grips finger grooves for better grip and retention. Not to mention, the rubberized grips also provide additional comfort when shooting. Additionally, an adjustable rear sight is combined with a fiber optic front sight for quick target acquisition in low light conditions.
“Shooting 22LR is a very important part of sport shooting. It is where we come to learn as beginners; and where we return as seasoned shooters to profitably enjoy more time on the range. We’re sure Colt fans new and old will love what we’ve done with the new King Cobra in 22 LR.” said Justin Baldini, vice president of product strategy, Colt CZ-USA.
