Spring gobbler season is ramping up, and CZ makes sure the hunters are well-armed when they hit the turkey grove. Two hard-hitting 12-gauge shotgun options will allow hunters to carry more long beards over their shoulders.
CZ Reaper Magnum it’s the CZ-USA over/under designed for maximum flexibility in those common situations where gobblers strut into a hunter’s lap or hang on the outside fringes of range. Clad in Mossy Oak Obsession Camo, the Reaper is designed to kill turkeys with the same 3 ½” chambers as the Swamp Magnum.
The beauty of hunting with over/under is that each barrel can be equipped with a different choke. A simple flip of the selector switch allows hunters to choose which barrel to fire, either placing an open choke on the lower barrel for optimum effectiveness at close range or an additional full choke on the upper barrel to launch deadly buckshot at longer distances.
Hunters will appreciate the shorter barrels which allow them to be more maneuverable in the woods or blind. The Picatinny style rail allows hunters to add a favorite optic on top to ensure the best shooting placement. The gun accepts all 3 ½ inch heavy duty turkey loads and all 2 ¾” and 3” loads. Weighing in at 7 pounds, with a 26-inch barrel, and swiveling forward and reverse sling, the Reaper Magnum is easy to carry and maneuver. It comes with five extended interchangeable chokes.
CZ 612 Magnum Türkiye it is created for turkey forests. This pump-action shotgun sports an effective spring camo pattern in Mossy Oak Obsession and comes equipped with two chokes. One choke is extra-filled to deliver maximum buckshot to the eater’s kill zone, and the other is modified for upland hunting and steel shot.
The 612 Magnum turkey comes with a rail that can be added on top of the receiver for optics of choice. The 8mm flat vented rib has a muzzle bead, weighs 6.8 pounds, accepts 3 ½-inch, 3″ and 2 ¾” buckshot shells, and has a 26-inch barrel.
