Team Winchester sport clay shooters arrived in Palmyra, Tennessee, competing for top honors at the 2022 National Sport Clay Association (NSCA) Southeast Regional, and Eric Harvey set the tone.
Harvey placed High Overall in the main event with 195 out of 200 targets, beating Team Winchester shooter Joe Fanizzi by a bird. This was Harvey’s first regional win after several solid podium finishes over the past year. Connor Daniel and Kayla Wilgus shot extremely well in the concurrent Sub-Junior, with Connor taking the Southeast Regional Championship.
Kayla Wilgus won her first women’s title at the Prelim event, which we are sure will be the first of many in her career. Speaking of ladies, our very own Desi Edmunds finished third in the Winchester Ladies Cup event.
The Southeast Regional was event 7 of 8 on the 2022 NSCA Championship Tour, powered by Winchester, and was hosted by Cross Creek Clays, a beautiful new club near the Cumberland River. Winchester congratulates all competitors for their participation in the event.
