Mein, a member of the USA Shotgun National Team Shooting, he received a gold medal after achieving the highest score in the match.
“This victory means a lot to me as it brings me one step closer to making the Paris 2024 Olympic Team. Any time you can win a national championship is a great achievement, but I feel very blessed to be at the top for three years. in a row,” Mein said. “America has some of the best cheat shooters in the world, and to beat them you have to be at the top of your game. I knew I could count on my federal ammunition to get the job done.”
While Mein has yet to earn an Olympic berth on Team USA, she has been enjoying a wave of momentum heading into the early part of the qualifying process.
“My expectations were high going into our national championship, especially after a World Championship in February and winning the all-important Olympic Quota spot,” Mein continued. “I felt like I could handle racing against some of the best in the world in tough conditions to bring home the win.”
