Salt Lake City, Utah – When the 5MM AXIS burst onto the scene, it revolutionized hunting arrows. The small shaft innovation offered better accuracy and mitigated friction to retain speed and add penetration. Now the concept has advanced to the next level with the introduction of the new 4MM AXIS Long Range.
The Long Rang AXIS will offer bowhunters even more of what they want in a micro-diameter arrow. The 4mm AXIS uses a lighter carbon for higher velocity to target to drive tips deeper at impact. “Plus, it adds penetration as the axis with less friction passes behind the wide nose channel,” said Gary Cornum, director of marketing for Easton. “Millions of successful hunts testify to the astonishing effectiveness of a simple concept that equates to major game shot down – it’s like getting magnum ammunition for a bow.”
Manufactured at the Easton factory in Utah, the AXIS Long Range is engineered from specialized carbon fiber to increase arrow speed. Included are Easton 4mm nocks and 8-32 half-outs that increase the center front to help adjust arrow grouping. The 4mm Long Reach AXIS is available in four sizes, 250, 300, 340 and 400, in both standard straightness and ultra-precise ±.001 Match Grade.
