Hornady understands the importance of case preparation to develop consistent reloads. Case preparation includes trimming, resizing, cleaning and deburring fired cases. Hornady offers a wide range of case preparation tools available to produce consistently high quality brass.
The Lock-N-Load® Power Case Picking Center is a complete case picking solution. It features a micro-adjustable trimmer, powerful motor, metal shaving collection tray, and various case cleaning accessories. Takes up a minimal amount of bench space at a fraction of the size of other tools. Additionally, the system is capable of handling a variety of cartridges with interchangeable cartridge holders. Large and small primer bag cleaners, six-neck brushes, and a variety of casing holders are included.
Hornady Digital Cases and Parts Dryer ensures brass and firearm parts are completely dry after sonic cleaning. It consists of four fixed trays and a removable mesh tray. There is plenty of space for drying larger gun cases and parts. Load trays with cases, choose one of seven temperature settings, and select the desired time. Dry brass prevents oxidation from occurring and results in higher quality refills.
The Hornady® Neck Turning Tool offers a precise means of turning cases and optimizing reloads. It is capable of converting a variety of box lengths. The Neck Twist Tool includes four of the most popular chucks, 22 cal., 6mm, 6.5mm, and 30 cal. Pairing it with a drill (not included) quickly and consistently trims the neck of each snare to the proper thickness. The cutting head adjusts in 0.0005″ increments with the detent system or remove the set screw for infinite adjustments. The result is optimized neck tension and more accurate reloads.
For a hands-on approach to case preparation, the Lock-N-Load® Quick Change Hand Tool comes ready with several accessories. It is compatible with any tool with 8-32 threads, including bevelers, deburrs, primed pocket reamers, cleaners, and brushes. The double-sided chuck allows for quick switching between two tools by holding down the release buttons. Additionally, the large handle is ergonomically designed to minimize fatigue during case preparation.
