Huk’s Brock Mosley completes a championship run on the Sabine River

Huk’s Performance Fishing Team is committed to designing apparel for the die-hard angler, and no angler is more like that commitment than Brock Mosley. With a phenomenal four-day total of 44 pounds 3 ounces on the Sabine River, Mosley completed a run in his first blue trophy in the Folds of Honor Bassmaster Elite event. This comes after 5 grueling second-place finishes in his career.

“After walking offstage five times and seeing my wife cry, I started to think it would never happen,” Mosley said, his voice shaking. “But I always said, ‘When it’s God’s time, I’ll win one of these.'”

Mosley got off to a good start with a 12th-place, Day 1 limit of 9lbs. and 15 ounces. Despite missing two hours with a mechanical problem in the second round, he added 11 lbs. and 15 oz to take the lead on Day 2, where he would not concede for the rest of the weekend.

“Brock embodies everything it means to be a Huk fisherman. It is clear that he loves this sport, as well as the opportunity to represent our brand on the national stage,” said Paige Hill-Murphy, community manager for Huk Performance Fishing. “We are very proud of his commitment to take home a blue trophy and we look forward to the rest of his season this year.”

Mosley relies on Huk apparel to keep him cool and comfortable on the water year-round. From shirts, pants, outerwear, raincoats, and footwear, Huk has anglers covered no matter the season or activity.
