The ability to create a variety of sounds is key to success when hunting moose bellows. I tend to use an outer reed more often to produce high-pitched cow cries that can cut through hills. I always have some diaphragms with me to quickly call and play the bugle with the metal bugal tube. New to my lineup this year is the EZ SUK’R, a moose song that works on inhalation rather than exhalation. Hopefully, this hands-off call will get you closer than ever to some big bulls this fall.
