Like the 3.0 RazorWork, this new compact workhorse knife is crafted from 420J2 Japanese stainless steel that’s heat-treated and hand-finished for a long-lasting sharp edge. The utility blade’s straight edge design transfers power directly to the cutting edge, making it a great knife for tradesmen and everyday use as it offers a great cutting advantage over a standard utility blade. When the blade becomes dull, it can be quickly and safely exchanged at the push of a button for a new blade thanks to the patented Outdoor Edge RazorSafe system. The blade is securely seated in a black oxide coated steel blade holder, providing the strength of a traditional knife. The handle is constructed of a lightweight, one-piece, non-slip glass/nylon polymer. Each RazorWork knife comes with two utility blades and is compatible with Outdoor Edge’s 250 blades.

New for 2023, you’ll notice that all RazorSafe blades and blade holders are marked with a number. This is in place to ensure that you purchase and pack the correct blades. The packaging will not only have the number system, but it will also have a color-coded system that matches the knives and blades, just another way to ensure everyone is getting an accurate mix of knives and replaceable blades.
