Tess doesn’t just promote outdoor activities for a job; she’s actually living the “outdoor life” every day outside of work. And she shares many of her own hunting adventures with fans on Facebook and instagram. Her favorite thing to do is dive into murky waters to catch catfish by hand, which is why many viewers refer to her as the “news reporter.” The biggest catch of hers while playing, by the way, was a 56-pound flathead.
“I am very excited that POMA has chosen Northeast Oklahoma for its annual business conference. I am honored to have the opportunity to share more about how the outdoors changed my life and the work I do every day as a news anchor/reporter in Tulsa to highlight the heritage of hunting and fishing,” said Tess.
