More than 800 athletes representing some 76 teams from 31 states will come together and compete for top honors and national titles at the ACUI/SCTP Collegiate National Championship to be held at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, Texas,! from March 21 to 25! Industry partners and supporters are also showing up to support this historic event which will take place later this month.

A powerhouse in supporting the entire youth shooting sports industry, Larry and Brenda Potterfield have confirmed their attendance at the inaugural ACUI/SCTP Collegiate National Championship. Showing confidence in SCTP, the family has attended the SCTP National Championship nearly every year since its inception, along with representatives from the MidwayUSA Foundation in support of the nation’s largest youth shooting sporting event.

“To say we are excited to host Mr. and Mrs. Potterfield at our first ACUI & SCTP Collegiate Clay Target Championship event is an understatement,” said Taylor Blechschmid, ACUI Program Manager. “His impact on the ACUI Clay Targets Program, and the youth shooting sports community in general, is an inspiration to all of us. We’re all on the same team when it comes to celebrating college shooting sports, and we can’t wait to continue to do so through our partnership with SCTP and in Texas at our national tournament.”

“We couldn’t be more excited for Mr. and Mrs. Potterfield to attend the inaugural event where they will be able to see the weight of the ACUI/SCTP partnership in person,” exclaimed SCTP National Director Tom Wondrash. “Their support of the SCTP program and its member teams over the years has been incredible and we are excited to share the love of youth development through shooting sports with them at the National Shooting Complex.”
