Simplify dog training with Garmin Delta SE

Palm-sized remote trainer provides intuitive training for dogs at home or in the field

garmin® International, Inc., a unit of Garmin Ltd. (NYSE: GRMN), today announced the Delta® I KNOW hand and neck. Featuring Garmin’s trusted dog training technology, the new ergonomic handheld offers an easy-to-use form factor. Whether at home or on the hunt, users will enjoy Delta SE’s simple one-handed operation, so they can focus on their dog, not their handheld device.

“For years, trainers of all levels have chosen the Garmin Delta series as a trusted tool for their dog training needs. We listened to customer feedback and built on the legacy of the Delta series to create our most intuitive wearable dog training device yet: Delta SE,” said Dan Bartel, vice president of global consumer sales at Garmin. “The stripped-down, streamlined training interface is intentionally designed so that trainers can quickly adapt to Delta SE and the specific training situation at hand. And with the addition of Garmin’s proven canine technology, trainers will have the tool they can trust for beginner or advanced training sessions.”

The Delta SE handheld device is a lightweight, screenless remote trainer that takes advantage of simple three-button operation. People can choose continuous, momentary or pitch correction settings using dedicated buttons on the handheld. A touch dial on the top of the handheld device is used to quickly switch between 10 different stimulation levels to suit the dog’s temperament and training situation, as well as an auxiliary setting to change the tone button to a vibration setting. . The palm-sized handheld weighs just 3 ounces, so it’s small enough to slip into a pocket when not in use or light enough to attach to a lanyard.

The Delta SE Wearable Device can be combined with the new Delta SE Collars or the existing Delta XC and PT 10 Collars. The new Delta SE collars use interchangeable long or short plastic contact points for greater comfort and easier wear, as well as a new collar retention bar to help prevent dogs from getting caught on things like fences, tree branches, etc. trees and debris. Using the slider switch located on the side of the handheld, Delta SE users can train up to two dogs within a half mile1 during the same training session. This completely sealed top-down slider switch allows users to confidently and quickly switch between different dogs at any time. And with up to 70 hours of battery life and USB-C charging, Delta SE is there when you need it.

Built to withstand the elements, Delta SE has a water rating of IPX7two. The Delta SE package is available now with a suggested retail price of $249.99. For more information, visit garmin.com.
