The 2022 edition of the Pennsylvania Game Commission’s free webinar series, Learn to Hunt, launches at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24.
The first installment will cover the basics of squirrel hunting.
This will be followed by deer archery sessions on Wednesday 7th and 21st September. The cycle will conclude with the pheasant hunt on Wednesday, October 5.
Each webinar will last approximately one hour and will then be followed by a question and answer session.
Learn to Hunt webinars include information on where to hunt, what you need to hunt, hunting tips and tactics, and how to prepare game for the table.
In addition to the live presentations, each webinar will be recorded and available for later viewing on Game Commission’s Learn to Hunt webpage.
Those who register through the website receive an email after the live event to access the recording.
The Learn to Hunt program is provided in addition to other online resources designed to help new or experienced hunters develop the confidence and skills they need to hit the field. Other online programs include the Hunter-Trapper Education Course (which is required to purchase a hunting license), the Pennsylvania Archery Safety Course, the Successful Bowhunting Course, and the Successful Hunting Course. Check them out on the Hunter-Trapper Education web pages.
