Team USA Sporting Clays win back-to-back world championships

The USA Sporting Clays team has been on tour around the world and returns home victorious after winning two recent international titles.

The World English Sporting Clays 2023 event held in the UK and the World FITASC 2023 event held in Hungary played host to some of the most talented sporting shooters in the world.

Team USA took the field by storm, winning the all-around team competition in the senior men’s, women’s, and junior men’s divisions at the FITASC World English and World event. As the Official Ammunition of Team USA, Winchester continued its high-level support of the world’s best sports shooters, supplying the famous AA® cartridges to all team members.

“The excitement of shooting sports is on full display at this highly regarded international event and it is an honor to represent the United States of America with my teammates,” said Anthony Matarese, Jr., senior men’s team captain and member of Team Winchester. “We were very impressed with the goals, the staff and the opportunity to compete.”

About caring for gun owners

Gun owners care. You worry about safety. You care about preventing unauthorized access to firearms. You care about improving your community, helping those in need, and conserving wildlife and wild places for generations to come. It’s time for gun owners to tell their stories and show how they’re making a difference. NSSF®, the trade association for the firearms industry, has established the Gun Owners Care campaign to unite gun owners and the firearms industry in this common cause. Visit gunownerscare.org for more information.
