The results of the first Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) rifle and pistol league matches are in.
CMP League Matches were introduced in early 2022, with Outdoor Pistol, High Power Rifle, and CMP Games Rifle events. Participants competed shooting at a shooting range, with scores submitted and averaged within CMP’s online competition tracking system.
Prizes are distributed to the best competitors from across the country. To qualify, competitors were required to shoot at least three times over the course of the League, and average scores were used to determine first through third places. In those events with a total of four participants, only the absolute winner was awarded.
Outdoor Pistol League Matches ran from May 1 to October 31, 2022 and included 900 Pistol Aggregate matches and 30 Shot National Match Course (NMC) events.
