This Week on HSCF Radio and “Hunting Matters” Podcast: Talking Turkeys with Annie Farrell, District Biologist, National Wild Turkey Federation

Houston Safari Club Foundation (HSCF) and Hunting Matters welcome Annie Farrell, District Biologist (TX, OK, KS, and NE) for the National Wild Turkey Federation.

NWTF is a non-profit conservation organization dedicated to the conservation of the wild turkey and the preservation of our hunting heritage. Farrell has been with the NWTF since 2017 and oversees the implementation of the conservation program in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Nebraska.

Prior to his NWTF career, he worked in various technical jobs with universities and consulting firms in Georgia, Wyoming, and Louisiana. She was born and raised in Georgia and received degrees from the University of Georgia (BSFR) and Mississippi State University (MS), where he studied wild turkeys. She currently lives in East Texas with her husband, Chris, her twin year-old daughters, and her yellow Lab, Otter.
