TrueTimber® rider Spencer Bayston secures 2022 Rookie of the Year from Kevin Gobrecht at World of Outlaws

Spencer Bayston, driver of the No. 5 TrueTimber car in the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Series, has been named Kevin Gobrecht’s 2022 Rookie of the Year. TrueTimber announced the partnership with Bayston and CJB Motorsports in early 2022 as title sponsor of the No. 5 car and will return for the 2023 season.

Bayston finished eighth overall in the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series with two wins, 16 top-five and 39 top-ten performances in 2022. He closed the year with back-to-back top-ten World Finals appearances at The Dirt Track. at Charlotte, finishing eighth each time. Bayston’s car featured TrueTimber RipTide and Strata camo paint schemes throughout the season.
