The R3D front sight is equipped with XS’s patented Glow Dot with tritium center for dual illumination. The Glow Dot absorbs ambient light and glows in low light while also absorbing light from the tritium that continuously charges the dot. This makes the front sight even brighter than the tritium rear sights, which drives the focus towards the front sight and lower range threat, allowing for faster and more accurate target acquisition.
The high contrast color front sight is available in orange or green. The blacked-out 2-dot tritium rear sight illuminates to facilitate proper sight alignment without overshadowing the front sight for precise indexing.

R3D sights are CNC machined from solid steel bars in XS Sights’ in-house machine shop in Ft. Worth Texas and carry a 12-year warranty on tritium. Gunsmith installation of these sights is recommended for Kimber K6s as the front sight will need to be drilled for the detent pin. These scopes will not fit the Kimber K6xs.
