The “Yackley Five” continued their run in 2022 as America’s most decorated family in shooting sports, with significant victories against some of the toughest competition in the world. The Yackley family includes father and mother, Mark and Becky, and three sons, Tim, Sean and Andrew, who compete in various shooting sporting events around the world representing Team Winchester.
“The Yackley family positively represents Team Winchester on many levels: competition, training, education and responsible firearms ownership,” said Matt Campbell, vice president of sales and marketing. “They are successful for many reasons, but their work ethic and commitment to excellence are what set them apart.”
One of the world’s top-ranked practical shooters, Tim recently won first place and a $50,000 prize at the inaugural PrairieFire Championship event in Florence, Texas. The hefty prize pool attracted some of the most talented shooters from around the country, and Tim came out on top thanks to his quick and accurate shooting.
In September, Becky competed at the Pan American Firearms Championship (IPSC Tier IV) and placed first in the Lady Standard division, as well as taking second place in the Lady Standard at the 2022 IPSC Nationals along with a host of others. locations at various events throughout the year.
Mark and the two youngest sons, Sean and Andrew, have also earned their fair share this year with strong performances in a number of events, including the USPSA Multigun Nationals; Wisconsin, Texas, and Missouri 3-Gun Championships; and the Caribbean Open.
“The year 2022 has left me admiring the men my sons have become through the years of doing hard things to be strong competitors. I am proud of how they support each other and I am grateful for the opportunities to face challenges with them,” said Becky Yackley.

About caring for gun owners
Gun owners care. You worry about safety. You care about preventing unauthorized access to firearms. You care about improving your community, helping those in need, and conserving wildlife and wild places for generations to come. It’s time for gun owners to tell their stories and show how they’re making a difference. NSSF®, the trade association for the firearms industry, has established the Gun Owners Care campaign to unite gun owners and the firearms industry in this common cause.
