The Colombian ground squirrel is an attractive animal full of entertaining antics. Their standard greeting involves touching their noses and mouths for about 1-5 seconds. This family was seen near Hauser. They can be found in central Idaho and western parts of Montana, along with northern and eastern reaches of Washington to the Canadian Rockies.

Fledgling robin that left its nest this morning along with two of its siblings.

This morning all 3 robin chicks successfully fled their nest. I was able to photograph 2 of them just before and after taking the plunge. The first one was already out before I knew it, as he was working in my garden when this happened.

A new resident of the Turnbull Fed Game Refuge. A young coyote hunting chipmunks. He was very busy, but he took the time to look up and investigate a very long telephoto lens. Taken very early on 07-04-22. Canon camera with 600mm lens.
