All P-10 series pistols are designed for reliability, outstanding accuracy, long life and shooting comfort. The fiberglass-reinforced barrel and frame and slide feature an incredibly durable finish, protecting them from mechanical damage and the elements.
The P-10 trigger design minimizes slippage and bunching. After an initial break-in, the pull averages a clean 4.5-5 pound pull. The trigger offers precise shots and effortless follow-throughs thanks to its short positive reset.
The pistol is drop proof, combined with the automatic firing block. The automatic firing block prevents premature separation of the trigger bar and spring-loaded firing rod unless the trigger is pulled fully rearward. Partial precocking, even if the firing pin safety fails, the firing pin does not have enough power to ignite the detonator. The firing pin on the P-10 is a partially pre-assembled system. Cycling the slide presets the firing pin to 60%.
P-10 pistols include three safety features: trigger safety, trigger bar safety, and firing pin block safety. Together these safety devices protect the user if the gun is accidentally dropped and in high stress situations. Additionally, the P-10s have a loaded chamber indicator that allows for an external visual check to see if there is a round in the chamber.
