Las Vegas, NV—HAVA announces another successful and fun HAVA/NSSF Golf Tournament at the world-class Bear’s Best Golf Club in Las Vegas on the 9ththe year. The Golf Classic drew 34 teams, which is 136 outdoor industry participants, to the Jack Nicklaus-designed club for a fun day of golf and fellowship on January 15, 2023, ahead of the industry’s annual Shot Show. 26 of 34 teams finished under par and everyone had a blast. The annual event has become a relaxing and rewarding addition to the SHOT Show, featuring great camaraderie, food and a wide variety of raffle prizes donated by industry companies to support HAVA’s mission of helping disabled veterans.
“Despite the harsh playing conditions, industry participants came out to have fun and again provided an amazing show of support for our programs for injured veterans,” said Tom Taylor, HAVA President. “The support from our many patrons each year, who help HAVA in its mission to help our veterans who have made such an enormous sacrifice for our country, is incredible. The tournament funds a number of annual HAVA events, including its much-loved family day in San Antonio each year, along with various picnics, hunts, and other events.
