That: The Sisterhood of the Outdoors team will participate in the 20th Annual Dressed to Kilt Fashion Show at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC on Saturday, April 1, 2023. Dressed to Kilt is a premier fashion event founded by the late Sir Sean Connery and Sir Geoffrey Carrol who promotes Scottish fashion and honors the military. The theme of this year’s fair is “Country Cool—Outdoor Fashion”. This year’s show is a celebration of life, diversity and the human spirit. The beneficiary of this year’s show is the Navy SEAL Foundation and it will be a year of remembrance for Queen Elizabeth II and Sir Sean Connery.
Sisterhood of the Outdoors is a community of women who hunt, fish and shoot together through organized expeditions providing a welcoming environment to support new and seasoned sportswomen. With the motto “Become the athlete you always wanted to be,” the organization believes that every woman can belong in the outdoors and provides the tips, skills and opportunities to support her journey. This year, Sisterhood of the Outdoors partnered with veteran-owned and operated Kryptek to offer the company’s women’s camo apparel directly through the SOTO website.
WHO: Sisterhood of the Outdoors President Amy Ray and professional staff Meghan Beach and Nikki Copper will hit the runway in the “Hotties Who Hunt” segment of the fashion show wearing new Dalibor Skyfall women’s technical hunting clothing from Kryptek for women, carrying Orvis hunting and custom-made shotgun and sporting bags Field-to-pen designs earrings.
