The 3.9-inch Magnacut blade uses a classic drop point design. It has a thin blade with a full, flat grind that makes it a great blade for slicing and other delicate work, but with enough force for light mincing. Being made of Magnacut, it is corrosion free even in the harshest conditions.
The SPL’s high-visibility orange handle is made from tough G10 that has a slim, comfortable contour and full tang construction. Overall, the SPL is 8 inches in length, making it a compact fixed blade knife with a big knife feel. The orange sheath is designed to snap into the depression in the grip of the handle, so the knife stays in place as you trek across uneven terrain, giving you a little more peace of mind.
