Umarex USA will feature some familiar faces at Booth #2313 at the Safari Club International Convention (February 22-25) in Nashville, Tennessee. In addition, an informative seminar will be held on the current state of hunting with large-caliber air weapons. part of SCI’s educational programs.
On Friday, February 24 at 1 pm, Tom Claycomb II will present “Big Game with Air Guns” in room 2004.
Claycomb is a dedicated air shooter who will explain the many benefits of hunting with .50 caliber airguns, such as the many open airgun categories in the SCI Log Book.
At 2 pm, appointment abby casey at the Umarex Airguns stand. Casey lives to hunt and fish. She is a former state champion shooter and NJROTC national champion shooter. She now serves as executive producer of “American Airgunner” and is an avid turkey hunter.
At 3:00 p.m., attendees will be able to meet chris dorsey, star of “Sporting Classics with Chris Dorsey. Dorsey, one of the world’s most traveled hunters, has taken all 29 species of North American big game, Africa’s Deadly Seven, Africa’s spiral horns and a World Slam turkey. Through his program, Dorsey has shown that large-caliber air weapons like the Umarex Hammer are effective on the African plains.
At 4 pm, the father/daughter duo of tim wells and sydnie wells will be in booth 2313. Tim Wells, also known as the “Slockmaster,” is one of the best at using primitive tools like bows, spears, and BB guns for his TV show “Relentess Pursuit.”
His daughter, Sydnie Wells, is an accomplished hunter in her own right and hosts the Barstool Outdoors. Both have added airsoft guns to their arsenals in recent years and can
show attendees the harvesting capabilities of air hunting.
