The largest youth shooting sporting event in the United States, the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) National Championships, begins this week at the Cardinal Shooting Center in Marengo, Ohio.
With more than 3,500 youth shooting sports athletes and 300 teams from over 30 states, the SCTP National Championship draws intense competition among the nation’s best youth shooters. It also has a fantastic festive atmosphere with activities and vendors for the whole family.
“The SCTP National Championship represents everything positive that the youth shooting sport can offer; competition, family, friends, outdoor activities…it’s an event like no other in the country,” said Jason Gilbertson, director of marketing for Winchester Ammunition. “Competitive shooting continues to be one of the fastest growing sports at the high school level, and Winchester is honored to be the official ammunition of SCTP and this event.”

About caring for gun owners
Gun owners care. You worry about safety. You care about preventing unauthorized access to firearms. You care about improving your community, helping those in need, and conserving wildlife and wild places for generations to come. It’s time for gun owners to tell their stories and show how they’re making a difference. NSSF®, the trade association for the firearms industry, has established the Gun Owners Care campaign to unite gun owners and the firearms industry in this common cause.
